The Organizing Committee for the 15th Pacific Games in Port Moresby 2015 entrusted Mise O Point with the design and technical management of the Host Broadcaster services. Following the model established for the 14th Pacific Games in New Caledonia (NC 2011), Mise O Point organized a production pool by inviting Pacific Island television stations and selecting a team of English-speaking sports journalists to provide English commentary for all the events produced.
Mise O point also provided all the IP contribution equipment needed to transmit signals from the sports venues to the IBC (International Broadcast Center), as well as the equipment for encoding and encrypting a 4-channel multiplex distributed via Intelsat 19 across the Pacific to rights holders. For the first time in the history of the Pacific Games, half of the footage was produced in high definition.
Mise O Point served as the executive producer for the 7th-round match of the Coupe de France on November 15, 2014, between AS MAGENTA and FC TRELISSAC, on behalf of Nouvelle Calédonie la 1ère. A 6-camera production truck was deployed for the production of this event, which was broadcast live on NC la 1ère, France 3 Aquitaine, and online.
Mise O Point handled the contribution over the Internet for Canal+ Calédonie of matches produced in New Caledonia to its headend in Boulogne-Billancourt in metropolitan France for live broadcast on its DTH satellite package via Intelsat 18.
Mise O Point provided NK Prod with the necessary filming equipment (a 6-camera production truck) for the production of the 2014 season’s 10 Super League matches, as well as the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final of the Caledonia Cup, which were broadcast in part on Canal+ Caledonie and Nouvelle Calédonie la 1ère.
As in 2012, Mise O Point is coordinating the broadcast of the 2013 CAN (Africa Cup of Nations) on behalf of AFNEX and LC2 International, the rights holders for Africa.
Mise O Point supports NCTV, New Caledonia’s first private television station, which launched in December 2013, by integrating its production studio in Nouméa and its mobile production unit, and then serving as its deputy technical director.
As part of a cooperation project funded by AusAID (Australian Cooperation) and managed by the international department of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation,
ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) and Mise O Point are assisting VBTC (Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation) with the development of its transmission network across the archipelago, as well as with the installation of a backup radio studio.
